It is crazy to think that not much more than twelve months ago I was perched in this exact same spot, overlooking Oia from Ikies. Time flies by faster every single month, week and day and it isn’t until stopping to appreciate the view that the realisation of exactly how much has changed in the past year really sinks in. This corner of the earth provided a comforting cocoon last year while going through some calamity, and this time I briefly escaped there on purpose knowing it would heal another few bumps in the road. The sea, sun on my skin, good food and this time with my brother’s company. Nothing could ever beat that!
